Lower your costs with Virginia solar incentives

The 30% federal residential tax credit ended on December 31, 2025, so new homeowner-owned systems no longer qualify. But Virginia still rewards going solar: full retail net metering credits the excess power you send to the grid, an active SREC market pays you for the energy your system produces, and state property- and sales-tax exemptions keep your costs down. If you'd rather skip the upfront cost entirely, lease and PPA options can still pass through a 30% commercial credit. Ask us which path fits your home.
